Wizkid Set to Take Music Break

Singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has announced his plans to take time off the music scene.

This comes after a fan of the ‘Essence’ crooner asked him to release new songs.

In a series of posts on his Instagram stories on Sunday, November 5, Wizkid revealed that he would be taking four or five years off the music scene in order to enjoy the money he had worked for, adding that he might consider taking up football or golf.

He wrote in Pidgin English: “Una papa dey holiday oo..make I enjoy… Back in 4 years, make una papa chop him money small or maybe five or I fit still go dey play ball now.

“Or make I start dey play golf. fifa or wrestling b*tch! All of una dey craze! Everybody dey mad.

“On some G shit, I hope you mof**kas alright body mind and soul and taking time out to enjoy with your loved ones.”
