Yoruba scholars wins prestigious Sheikh Hamad International award in Qatar

Two distinguished Yoruba scholars, Professor Mashood Mahmood Jimba and Dr. Sharafudeen Badipo Raji, have been honored with the prestigious Sheikh Hamad International Award for Translation and International Understanding.

This esteemed award recognizes their outstanding contributions to the translation of Arabic and Yoruba languages, promoting cross-cultural understanding and exchange.

The award ceremony took place on December 10, 2024, in Doha, Qatar, where HE Sheikh Thani bin Hamad Al-Thani presented the awards to the winners.
