President Bola Tinubu has advocated for the introduction of stock market teachings in classrooms across Nigeria, arguing that educating young Nigerians on trading and investment will create fortunes and build a sustainable economy.

Speaking during a meeting with NGX leadership at the State House on Friday, Tinubu declared: “If we can teach it in the classroom to our undergraduates, if they can be in the classroom without harrowing about how to go about it, we can build a nation filled with prosperity.”

The President also expressed confidence in Nigeria’s potential to achieve a $1 trillion economy, citing the country’s population, intellectual capacity, resources, and audacity. He reaffirmed his commitment to stabilising the naira, supporting private sector investments, and reforming public assets.

“I won’t stop reading, I won’t stop thinking, I won’t stop supporting you,” Tinubu assured the NGX team.
