Passengers on board of a private-owned aircraft, including a serving minister (name withheld) escaped death by the whiskers on Friday evening as their aircraft reportedly skidded off track into the bush at the Ibadan Airport, Alakia area of Oyo State capital.
There was neither a reported loss of lives nor property as men of the State Fire Services, Federal Fire Services, and Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Fire Services in a combined service arrested the situation.
The aircraft, it was learnt, took off from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
