EKSG set to unveil Innovation Hub, poised to become Nigeria’s tech capital

The Ekiti State Government,EKSG, is set to launch it first Innovation Hub today, 12, August 2024.

The unveiling ceremony will take place at the Obafemi Awolowo Civic Centre, Ado-Ekiti.

According to Hon. Oluwaseun Fakuade, Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Digital Economy, said the milestone marks a significant stride towards establishing Ekiti State as the country’s premier innovation and technology hub.

Hon. Fakuade highlighted that the state of the art facility will serve as a convergence point for entrepreneurs, researchers, developers and investors.

The Commissioner promised that the project will offer funding opportunities and mentorship programs where ideas will be transformed into successful businesses.

However, the hub primary objectives is to stimulate local economic growth to enhance the overall prosperity of the state.

Commissioner Fakuade extends an invitation to all stakeholders in the tech ecosystem to attend the launch event, marking a significant step towards harnessing the power of innovation and technology to drive sustainable development in Ekiti State.
