Residents of the Mosafejo area in Ojo Local Government have reported the discovery of a location allegedly used for the repackaging of expired drugs. Community members, concerned about unusual activities around the building, notified the Ojo Police Station. Following the report, the Divisional Police Officer and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, visited the premises for an on-the-spot assessment and to initiate formal investigations.

The structure involved is a 15-flat building reportedly owned by Eze Nkpado Olu of Imo State, a traditional ruler. According to residents, the building has been without tenants for about 15 years after the owner indicated plans to convert it into a hotel. While building materials were stored on part of the first floor, another section was allegedly used for the repackaging activities now under investigation.

Police authorities have commenced inquiries to determine the extent of the operation and identify those responsible, with assurances that findings will guide appropriate enforcement actions.
