Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is poised to commission two significant road projects on Wednesday, aimed at enhancing connectivity, reducing traffic congestion, and stimulating economic growth in the state.

The affected roads are the Abaranje road in Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and the Babajide Sanwo-Olu road (formerly Old Dopemu) in Agege Local Government Area.

According to the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, “In the past few months, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has handed over 36 roads and five bridges to Lagosians.”

Omotoso emphasized that the completion of the roads aligns with the state’s strategic efforts to build sustainable communities and reduce traffic congestion.

“The projects reflected the government’s commitment to providing infrastructure which would support inclusive economic growth and improve residents’ quality of life,” Omotoso stated.
