Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has received the President of Sierra Leone, Julius Bio, in Ibadan, marking a significant diplomatic visit.

President Bio is scheduled to inspect the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub, a flagship project in Oyo State, among other activities.

Governor Makinde extended a warm welcome to President Bio and his team, stating that the government and people of Oyo State were delighted to host them.

“Mr. President and his team will witness firsthand the rich history and heritage of Oyo State and why it is rightly regarded as the Pacesetter,” Makinde said.

The Governor highlighted the state’s pacesetting developments, including the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub, which has gained national and international recognition.

This visit is expected to strengthen the ties between Oyo State and Sierra Leone, with potential collaborations in agriculture and trade on the horizon.
