LAUTECH Emerges as Best State-Owned University

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has emerged as the best state-owned university in Nigeria, according to the T.H.E World University Ranking 2024.

The ranking, which was conducted by Times Higher Education, has shed light on the performance of various Nigerian universities across different categories.

In terms of the overall ranking, Covenant University has secured the top spot, making it the best-ranked university in Nigeria.

This private institution has consistently demonstrated excellence in various academic and research areas, propelling it to the fore-front of higher education in the country.

Furthermore, Covenant University has also been recognized as the best-ranked private university in Nigeria.

This achievement highlights the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering a conducive learning environment for its students.

The University of Ibadan, a federal institution, has been acknowledged as the best-ranked federal university in Nigeria.

As one of the oldest universities in the country, it has maintained a strong reputation for its academic programs and research contributions.

However, it is the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) that has claimed the title of the best-ranked state university in Nigeria. This accolade is a testament to the institution’s dedication to academic excellence and its efforts to provide quality education to its students.

LAUTECH’s achievement is particularly noteworthy considering the challenges faced by state-owned universities in Nigeria.
