Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announced on page X that Lagos has emerged as the South West runner-up in the Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge.

This prestigious award, organized by the Nigeria Governors Forum, comes with a $400,000 prize.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said.

“The Primary Health Care Leadership Challenge is a flagship program aimed at revitalizing the Primary Health Care Under One Roof policy in Nigeria.”

The challenge focuses on maximizing state governors’ commitment to increasing primary health care funding and ensuring that all primary healthcare centers have the necessary human resources.

“This award will further encourage us to improve healthcare services for the benefit of all Lagosians,” Governor Sanwo-Olu added. “Our goal is to create an even stronger and more efficient primary healthcare system in Lagos State.”

With this achievement, Lagos State reinforces its commitment to providing quality healthcare to its citizens, and Governor Sanwo-Olu is determined to build upon this success.
