Sani Wala Burki, a notorious terrorist leader, has been killed in a joint operation by local vigilantes and the Katsina Community Watch Corps (CWC).

The operation, which took place in the Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State, resulted in the neutralization of Burki and several of his men.

According to reports, the incident occurred when Burki’s group attempted to launch another attack on innocent civilians in Safana.

However, the vigilante groups mounted a coordinated defense, engaging the armed group and ultimately leading to the death of Burki and several members of his gang.

Sani Wala Burki was a key figure in the wave of attacks that had long plagued the Safana and Batsari Local Government Areas, spreading fear and instability in the region.

His demise marks a major victory in the fight against terrorism and a significant step towards restoring peace and security in the affected areas.
