Gunmen Storm LG Secretariat in Ekiti, Days After Oyo Assembly Invasion

Days after armed suspected Yoruba Nation agitators invaded the Oyo State Government secretariat, gunmen on Tuesday, stormed the Ilejemeje Local Government secretariat in Ẹda-Oniyọ, Ekiti State, causing panic and chaos among workers.

The hoodlums who were said to have come from the neighbouring Obbo-Ayegunle community in Kwara State, violently stormed the secretariat, firing several gunshots.

The ensuing pandemonium made workers run in different directions.

One of the workers sustained injuries while running alongside others for dear lives as a result of the resultant confusion.
