Gospel singer Big Bolaji dies at 50

Gospel singer, Bolaji Olarewaju, popularly known as ‘Big B’, has passed away at the age of 50.

He died on Easter Saturday, April 19, 2025, after a brief illness, according to a statement by his family.

His family described him as a “cherished father, husband, brother, and esteemed figure in both the church and music industry”.

“Bolaji’s life was a testament to his passion for music, unwavering faith, and dedication to uplifting those around him,” the family stated.

“His legacy is not only in the melodies he created but also in the lives he touched and the unquantifiable joy he spread.”

The family finds solace in knowing that Big Bolaji’s passing is his presence with the Lord.

They appreciate the outpouring of love and support, requesting privacy during this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.
