Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the Edo State governorship election.

The Returning Officer, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, announced Okpebholo’s victory after he secured 291,667 votes.

Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came second with 247,274 votes, while Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party garnered 22,763 votes.
