Akpabio Constitutes 10th Senate Leadership

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has announced the constitution of the leadership of the 10th Senate.

In the new dispensation, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, representing Ekiti Central District has emerged as Senate Majority Leader, while the immediate past governor of Ebonyi State, Senator David Umahi, becomes Deputy Majority Leader, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume is to serve as Senate Majority Whip with Lola Ashiru as Deputy Majority Whip.

Other principal officers include Senator Simon Mwadkon, Senate Minority Leader; Oyewumi Olalere, Senate Deputy Minority Leader; Darlington Nwokocha, Senate Minority Whip and Rufai Hanga, Senate Deputy Minority Whip.
