The Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission today hosted the Executive Council of the Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries, South-West Nigeria (ARHOSPS-SWN), for a courtesy visit at Cocoa House, Ibadan.
The engagement brought together key regional development institutions, with the Southwest Development Commission (SWDC) and Odu’a Investment Company Limited (OICL) represented by their Managing Director/CEO and Group Managing Director respectively.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Association to brief the DAWN Commission on its strategic goals and areas of interest, while also exploring opportunities for stronger collaboration among stakeholders working towards the advancement of the South-West.
Discussions centred on deepening institutional cooperation and leveraging the experience and expertise of retired senior public servants to support regional economic development. The engagement also highlighted the importance of stronger coordination among Southwest institutions in driving sustainable development across the region.
The courtesy visit further reinforces the growing efforts among regional organisations and stakeholders to work together on initiatives capable of strengthening the economic and institutional development of South-West Nigeria. DAWN Commission expressed its readiness to explore areas of collaboration that align with its regional development mandate.
