Aiyedatiwa sets up 16-man planning committee for Ondo at 50

The Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has constituted a 16-man planning committee for the 50th anniversary of the creation of the State and the first anniversary of his administration.

Both events hold in February 2026.

The committee will be chaired by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, while the Premanent Secretary, Cabinet Matters, Pastor Adeyemi Adeyemo, will serve as Secretary.

The committee:

  5. Mr. Bayo Philip

  10. Mr. Summy Smart Francis
  11. Engr. Razak Obe

The committee is expected to constitute sub-committees that will cover the various aspects of the planning for the celebrations.

The Governor charged members of the committee to put in their best efforts towards organising beffiting anniversary events for the government and the people of the State.
