prominent Yoruba socio-political group, Majeobaje, has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.

The endorsement was announced following a consultative meeting of the group’s leaders and affiliated stakeholders across the Southwest. In a statement issued after the meeting, Majeobaje said the decision was based on what it described as the President’s ongoing reforms and his commitment to advancing Nigeria’s development.

The group highlighted Tinubu’s economic policies, infrastructural initiatives, and efforts toward national stability as key reasons for its support. It also urged citizens to remain patient as the administration continues to implement policies aimed at strengthening the economy and improving livelihoods.

Majeobaje called on Yoruba leaders, community groups and political actors to unite behind the President ahead of the next electoral cycle, stating that collective support would help consolidate progress in the region and the country at large.

The group added that it would embark on sensitization and engagement efforts across Yoruba-speaking states to mobilize support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
