Emirates Logistics, a leading security company, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and National Security Adviser (NSA) Mallam Nuhu Ribadu for their commitment to prosperity, security, and sustainable development as Nigeria marks the second anniversary of Tinubu’s administration.

CEO Prince Dr. Benson Onuwaje acknowledged the complex economic burden inherited by President Tinubu and the significant security challenges faced by NSA Ribadu. Despite these obstacles, Dr. Onuwaje praised the President’s efforts in laying the foundation for effective growth and development.

“President Tinubu has created fresh and remarkable opportunities for Nigeria,” Dr. Onuwaje said, highlighting achievements such as the Lagos-Calabar Highway construction, $35 billion IMF debt repayment, and transparent cash transfers.

The CEO lauded the Forest Guard initiative, citing its potential impact on tackling terrorism and promoting sustainable development.

“The creation of Forest Guard is one of the greatest interventions in tackling terrorism,” he said.

Dr. Onuwaje commended NSA Ribadu’s discipline, moral high ground, and security expertise. “Nuhu Ribadu is one of the best NSAs Nigeria ever had,” he said, praising Ribadu’s honesty and commitment to resolving disputes.

Increased oil production in the Niger Delta was cited as a major gain, with Dr. Onuwaje attributing it to the Tinubu administration’s architecture.

However, he called for more professionals in oil and gas safety to maximize output.

“What we need is to inject more experts and professionals to tackle bunkering and vandalization of oil pipelines,” Dr. Onuwaje said, expressing trust in President Tinubu and NSA Ribadu to address challenges.

While praising the administration, Dr. Onuwaje expressed concern about high food and petrol prices. “Nigeria needs a price control body to stabilize prices,” he said, urging state and local governments to produce staple foods.

The CEO commended the student loan scheme, covering 550,000 students, saying it would provide access to education for children from poor homes.

“We commend President Tinubu for realizing education’s importance,” he said.

Dr. Onuwaje urged Nigerians to appreciate the administration’s efforts.

“Nigeria needs unity and oneness for peace and stability,” he said, describing the past two years as the best since 1999 in terms of policy direction and radical transformation.
