Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has issued a directive to all the 19 commissioner nominees the state to adhere to the code of conduct regulations.

According to the governor, these nominees were required to promptly declare their assets before undergoing screening at the state House of Assembly.

Governor Yusuf said that no nominee would be inaugurated as a cabinet member, unless he or she had completed the asset declaration form provided by the Code of Conduct Bureau.

“This directive applies to all other political appointees serving under this administration,”the governor added.

Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to the people of the state, assuring them that transparency and accountability were fundamental principles of his administration.

These principles, he said, would be upheld to promote good governance as promised in his electoral blueprint.
