Sanwo-Olu felicitates with Yoruba people on Isese Day

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Yoruba people on Isese day.

This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, who lauded the South West people for honoring the cultural heritage of the Yoruba people.

The Governor in his statement commended all the traditional rulers and people of the South-West for upholding these cultural and traditional virtues of the Yoruba race.

Despite the global village phenomenon and multiculturalism, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of preserving the unique culture and traditions of the Yoruba people for future generations.

He encouraged traditional rulers and the people of the South West to uphold the Yoruba “Omoluabi” ethos, which encompasses:

“Let us continue to cherish and promote the timeless values of the Yoruba people, ensuring a brighter future for generations to come” Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said.
