Sanwo-Olu Appoints Secretary to State Government, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Barr. β€˜Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Other appointments approved by the governor included Tayo Ayinde, Chief of Staff and Mr. Gboyega Shoyanwo, Deputy Chief of Staff.

Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, who disclosed this in a statement described Barr. β€˜Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin as an erudite and experienced Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with over three decades at the Bar.

β€œShe is an astute business, human and economic resources manager who has a great passion for excellence”, Muri-Okunola said, adding “Before her present appointment, Barr. β€˜Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin was a Federal Commissioner, National Population Commission (NPC), a position in which she had served since November 2020”.

The Head of Service also stated that both Mr. Tayo Ayinde and Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo were re-appointed into their respective positions, having served Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s administration with diligence and great commitment during his first term as governor.

Expressing optimism that the knowledge, experience and capacity of the appointees would put them in good stead to serve diligently, Muri-Okunola congratulated and urged them to continue the delivery of selfless, effective and efficient service to the good people of Lagos State.

This, according to the Lagos State Head of Service, was the first set of appointments made by the governor in his second term in office adding that the appointments took immediate effect.
