The League of Imams and Alfas in Yorubaland has disowned the emergence of a separate group using a similar identity, describing the development as a deliberate attempt to mislead the public. In a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan, Oyo State, the body insisted that the new formation lacks legitimacy and urged Muslims and the general public to disregard it.
