Yoruba son emerges overall best with CGPA of 4.87 in Federal Institution

Adepoju David, a recent graduate of Federal University Oye-Ekiti, has shared his inspiring success story on social media.

He is from Badagry Local Government Area in Lagos.

“I am pleased to share with you that I have just successfully earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the prestigious Federal University Oye-ekiti, Ekiti State,” he said.

“Graduating as the Overall Best Graduating Student of Federal University Oye-Ekiti with a CGPA of 4.87/5.0 is a dream fulfilled,” he added.

Adepoju also listed his notable achievements, including receiving the prestigious MTN Foundation Scholarship in 2023.

He was also the Best Graduating student in the Department of Mathematics, Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Science, and Overall Best Graduating student at the Federal University Oye-ekiti.

During his time at FUOYE, Adepoju achieved several milestones, including earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with First Class honors.

He maintained a perfect CGPA of 5.0/5.0 for three consecutive semesters, won the Dean’s award for 8 semesters, and presided over the second largest Christian fellowship on campus.

He also interned with the International Centre for Applied Mathematical Modelling and Data Analytics.
