Yorùbá academic whizkid scores 370 out of 400 in UTME

Yoruba son, Afolabi Ayodeji, a 15-year-old prodigy from Icons Comprehensive College in Akure, Ondo State, has made history by scoring 370 out of 400 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This outstanding performance showcases Ayodeji’s exceptional grasp of both scientific and linguistic subjects.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) released Ayodeji’s scores, which reveal his remarkable academic prowess. He scored 98 in Mathematics, 98 in Physics, 94 in Chemistry, and 80 in Use of English.

These scores underscore his dedication and commitment to academic excellence.

Ayodeji’s achievement has generated significant interest and admiration, with many hailing him as a role model for his age. When asked about his achievement, Ayodeji humbly attributed his success to his support system, saying, “I didn’t set out to break any record; I just wanted to give my best. I thank God, my parents, and my teachers for believing in me.”
