Women of Ward 4 Pay Courtesy Visit to Akure South Vice Chairman

The Women Leader and women of Ward 4, Akure South Local Government, on Monday, 15th September 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chairman, Hon. Ayodele Gabriel Adebayo, at his office in Akure.

The visit, according to the women, was to formally express their appreciation for the Vice Chairman’s leadership style, his open-door policy, and his deliberate efforts to ensure women are carried along in the administration of the local government.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Women Leader noted that Hon. Adebayo had demonstrated uncommon empathy for women in the ward and had consistently encouraged their participation in political and community development activities. She stressed that such inclusiveness had not only boosted the morale of women in Ward 4 but also enhanced their confidence in governance.

In their goodwill message, the women expressed their satisfaction with the Vice Chairman’s performance so far, describing him as a listening leader who prioritizes the welfare of his people, irrespective of gender.

Responding, Hon. Ayodele Gabriel Adebayo thanked the women for their solidarity and unwavering support, both during his assumption of office and in the course of his administration. He assured them that their trust would not be misplaced.

The Vice Chairman further promised to consolidate on his achievements by ensuring more women benefit from government programmes and empowerment initiatives. He pledged to continue to look out for their interests, emphasizing that his office remains open to their contributions, advice, and concerns.

Hon. Adebayo added that women remain a vital force in community development and grassroots politics, noting that his administration will continue to prioritize inclusiveness, fairness, and opportunities for all.
