The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has officially commissioned the newly constructed Custodian Accident and Emergency Centre at the Federal Medical Center in Epe.

This state-of-the-art facility was built through a partnership between the Lagos State Government and Custodian Investment Plc, via its Custodian Social Responsibility Foundation.

The groundbreaking ceremony for this Level IV Trauma Centre took place on May 21, 2023. The centre features four distinct operational zones – Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green – designed for rapid assessment, treatment, and stabilization of emergency cases within the critical golden hour.

Following its completion, the facility has been officially handed over to the Lagos State Government for effective management, enhancing the state’s healthcare infrastructure and emergency response capabilities.
