A foreign lady has shared her experiences of living in two different regions of Nigeria, highlighting the stark contrast between the Eastern part of the country and Yoruba land.

In a recent video, the lady expressed her discomfort and unease while living in the Eastern part of Nigeria.

She explained that she had to cover her body every time she went out in public to avoid insults and unwanted attention from the locals.

“I felt so uncomfortable living in the East,” she said.

“I had to cover myself up all the time, just to avoid people insulting me or making me feel like I didn’t belong.”

However, her experience took a dramatic turn when she moved to Yoruba land. She was struck by the warmth and hospitality of the Yoruba people, who welcomed her with open arms.

“Since moving to Yoruba land, I have felt so much more at ease,” she said.

She explained how people in Yorubaland are so tolerant and accommodating. “I have never felt like I don’t belong.” She noted.

The lady praised the Yoruba people for their open-mindedness and willingness to accept people from different cultures and backgrounds. She noted that this was a stark contrast to her experience in the Eastern part of Nigeria, where she felt like an outsider.
