President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Prince Adetokunbo Ademola Ade-John as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Transportation and Mobility.
The appointment, which took effect on August 27, 2026, is subject to the terms and conditions of service contained in the Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) (Amendment) Act, 2008.
In his new capacity, Ade-John is expected to assist the President in strengthening coordination and policy implementation across key transportation institutions as the administration pursues reforms in the sector.
Ade-John is described as a national political organiser and grassroots politician, having previously served as Special Assistant to the Minister of Tourism. He is also identified as an APC Apex Youth Leader with political networks extending beyond Nigeria.
President Tinubu tasked the new appointee with deploying his experience towards advancing the country’s transportation and mobility agenda in line with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The appointment adds Ade-John to the growing team supporting the President on key areas of national policy and implementation.
