President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent a birthday message to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, describing him as an exceptional performer and a key contributor to his administration, despite belonging to a different political party.

In a statement marking Wike’s birthday on December 13, President Tinubu thanked God for the minister’s life, describing it as one defined by purpose, service, and courage. He praised Wike’s audacity, resilience, and results-driven approach, noting that the FCT has witnessed significant infrastructure development under his leadership. The President specifically highlighted the recent breakthrough on the long-stalled Apo–Karshi Road project, which had remained unresolved for 14 years.

President Tinubu commended Wike’s commitment to excellence and his role in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda, stating that the minister has proven his reputation as “Mr Project” extends beyond Rivers State to the nation’s capital. He wished Wike continued strength and success as he marks another year, acknowledging his consistent delivery of results in the FCT.

The President also noted that effective governance requires competence and dedication above partisan considerations, adding that Wike’s performance reflects his administration’s emphasis on results, service delivery, and national development. He urged public office holders to emulate the same sense of responsibility and focus on tangible outcomes that directly improve the lives of Nigerians.
