Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has approved the completion of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road dualization project in Oyo State.

The project, which has been stalled for some time, will be handled by Mssrs JRB Construction Co. Ltd at a total cost of N147,887,810,833.87.

The approval of the project is a sign to President Tinubu’s commitment to improving the country’s road network and easing the challenges faced by road users.

The Oyo-Ogbomoso Road is a critical transportation artery that connects the North to Lagos, facilitating the movement of goods, agricultural products, and people.

President Tinubu recognizes the importance of completing the entire road, especially the unfinished Ibadan-Ilorin Section.

The completion of this project will not only improve the country’s road infrastructure but also have a positive impact on the economy, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth.

The project’s completion will also bring relief to road users, particularly students and haulage trailers, who have had to endure the challenges of using the road in its current state. With the project’s completion, road users can expect a safer, more efficient, and more convenient travel experience.

As the project gets underway, Nigerians can expect to see significant improvements in the country’s road network, which will have a positive impact on the economy and the lives of citizens.
