Tinubu Appoints New Agric Development Fund’s Boss

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Muhammed Abu Ibrahim as executive secretary of the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF).

The appointment was made public on Thursday, October 19, in a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, in Abuja.

According to the statement, President Tinubu has tasked the new leadership at NADF to remove all barriers that impede access to needed funding for verified stakeholders across the country.

The statement further stated that the appointment took immediate effect.

The statement said: β€œPresident Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Muhammed Abu Ibrahim to serve as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF).

β€œThe President expects the new leadership at the Fund to successfully remove all barriers to efficient access to provisional funding in the sector for proven stakeholders nationwide who will credibly contribute to the Renewed Hope Agenda’s mandate in the attainment of complete self-sufficiency in local food production and eventual surplus export. By this directive of the President, the above-mentioned appointment takes immediate effect.”
