The Oladipupo Foundation for Sickle Cell, on Tuesday, donated medical supplies to the Nigeria Police Hospital (NPF), Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta.

According to the President of the Foundation. Dotun Oladipupo, the gesture was done in the spirit of raising and sharing hopes for people living with sickle cell.

Oladipupo said the Foundation donated medical supplies for the use of sickle cell kids and relatives of police officers who were registered in the facility.

He admonished mothers present to show love, care and compassion to their kids living with sickle cell, while encouraging them to always support their dreams.

He assured the sickle cell patients to be focused in achieving their desired dreams in life.

Oladipupo appreciated the support of Dr. Adebola Akindele, the Group Managing Director Courteville Business Solutions Plc, Lagos and other donors partnering with the foundation.

The medical officer in charge of the facility, CSP (Dr) Ihegboro Minachiso, assured that the medical supplies of drips, injections, drugs and others donated by the foundation would be solely used for sickle cell kids of officers.

He commended the NGO for reaching out to the facility at this critical period in the country.

The wife of the State Commissioner of Police, Alhaja Olufunke Alamutu, appreciated the kind gesture of the foundation.

Alamutu represented by top executives of Police Wives Association (POWA) assured the association’s readiness to collaborate with the foundation for future engagements in putting smiles on the faces of these sections of the police community.
