Sanwo-Olu hosts South West Governors in Lagos today

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is set to host his counterparts from the South West region at the Lagos House in Ikeja today, February 13, 2025.

The meeting, which is part of the South West Governors’ Forum, aims to discuss critical issues affecting the region, including agriculture, food security, economic growth, and security of lives and property.

The forum provides a platform for the governors to foster collaboration, advance development initiatives, and address common challenges facing the region.

As the chairman of the forum, Governor Sanwo-Olu will lead the discussions, building on the progress made since his unanimous appointment as chairman on June 10, 2024.

Some of the key issues expected to be on the agenda includes agriculture and food security, economic growth.

The meeting is expected to yield positive outcomes, with the governors working together to drive growth, development, and prosperity in the South West region.
