Queen of Denmark meets President Tinubu

The State House in Abuja played host to a high-level diplomatic meeting on Tuesday as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu welcomed Queen Mary Elizabeth of Denmark for a courtesy visit.

The monarch’s visit marks a significant milestone in strengthening ties between Nigeria and Denmark.

Upon arrival, Queen Mary Elizabeth was warmly received by President Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu at the President’s official residence within the State House complex.

Key government officials, including Chief of Staff Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, were also in attendance.

The Queen was accompanied by Danish Ambassador to Nigeria, Jens Ole Bach Hansen, as they engaged in a closed-door meeting with President Tinubu.
