The Doha-based Qatar Airways has announced the temporary suspension of flights to Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.

The airline cited regional instability and potential security risks as reasons for the halt.

According to a statement released by Qatar Airways, flights to and from Iraq, Iran, and Lebanon have been suspended until further notice.

Additionally, flights to Jordan will be limited to daylight hours to minimize risks.

The decision comes amid reports of an anticipated Israeli strike on Iran, which has heightened tensions in the region. Qatar Airways’ move aims to prioritize passenger safety and ensure operational security.

Qatar Airways assured passengers that it would continue to monitor the situation and adjust its flight schedule accordingly. Affected travelers will be notified and provided with alternative arrangements.

Passengers are advised to check with Qatar Airways for updates on flight schedules and travel advisories before planning their journeys.
