Putin establishes new Government body to boost birth rates, traditional family values

Russian President Vladimir Putin has formed a new government body aimed at increasing birth rates and supporting traditional families.

The primary objective of this initiative is to strengthen the institution of family and marriage between a man and a woman, based on the preservation and promotion of traditional family values.

Putin emphasized the importance of supporting families with children, particularly those with two or three children, which should be the preferred social norm.

He also stressed the need to provide financial assistance to families with children, ensuring that the birth of a child does not push families into financial difficulties or poverty.

The new government body will focus on implementing policies to boost birth rates, including providing support for young families, improving access to healthcare, and promoting family-friendly values. Putin’s initiative is seen as a response to Russia’s declining population and low birth rates, which have been a concern for the government in recent years
