Police arrest two suspects with 120 wraps of cocaine

Lagos State police command on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at approximately 2:00 pm, apprehended two suspects with 120 wraps of cocaine.

Officers from the Ojo Division arrested Sunday Nwabufor (47) of Festac and Obinna Nweke (45) of Ketu Mile 12.

Acting on a tip-off, police apprehended the duo in the Ojo area of Lagos State and discovered 120 wraps of a substance believed to be cocaine in their possession.

An investigation is currently underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding the seized substances.

The suspects are being held for further questioning and charges related to narcotics trafficking.

The Lagos State Police Comman has pledged to remain committed in fighting narcotics traffickers and ensuring public safety.
