The Ondo State Government has inaugurated the Steering Committee for the Framework for Responsible and Inclusive Land-Intensive Agricultural Investment (FRILIA).

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, while inaugurating the committee, described the initiative as a bold step towards boosting food security, safeguarding community rights and guaranteeing fair returns for landowners.

He disclosed that the state has secured 26,000 hectares of land in Ose Local Government Area for a pilot scheme, with ₦7.5 billion already earmarked for the agricultural sector.

According to the governor, FRILIA is designed to serve as a model for inclusive, transparent and community-driven agricultural investments in Ondo State.
