Γ’yΓ³ State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has presented a brand-new SUV to popular gospel singer, broadcaster, and Chairman of Fresh FM 105.9, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, following a recent fire incident.

The gesture comes as a show of solidarity and support to Ayefele, whose media platform and personal influence continue to inspire millions within and outside the state.

Ayefele, a household name in gospel music and broadcasting, has over the years built Fresh FM into one of the most influential private radio networks in Nigeria. The fire incident, which raised concerns among fans and stakeholders, had threatened to disrupt his operations, but the intervention of the governor underscores the administration’s commitment to supporting creative and entrepreneurial resilience.

Governor Makinde, while making the presentation, commended Ayefele for his contributions to the entertainment industry, grassroots broadcasting, and the Oyo economy, stressing that the SUV gift was both a relief gesture and recognition of his impact.

The Fresh FM boss expressed deep gratitude to the governor, noting that the support would not only ease his mobility but also encourage him to continue using his platforms to inspire, entertain, and inform the public.
