The Oyo State Government has raised a high-level security alert after intelligence indicated that a wanted militia leader known as “Boyi Actor” was spotted in Saki, a border town in Oke-Ogun.

The alert was contained in an internal memo dated November 23, 2025, signed by CP Odukoya Sunday Babatunde (Rtd.), the Executive Assistant on Security to Governor Seyi Makinde. The memo, sourced from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo Command, warned that the suspect’s presence poses a significant security concern for the state.

According to the document, Boyi Actor was reportedly seen moving through the area in a black tinted vehicle, though security agencies have not yet provided full details of the make or model of the car. Intelligence sources suggest that his movement may be part of a broader plan to clear pathways for members of his group from Niger, Kwara, and Kaduna States, prompting fears of a coordinated infiltration.

In response, the Oyo State Government has directed the NSCDC, alongside all other security formations in the state, to immediately intensify surveillance, reinforce patrols, and strengthen monitoring at all border communities, entry points, and exit routes. The memo emphasized the need for heightened vigilance to prevent any potential threat or attack.

Residents in the affected areas have also been urged to remain calm but alert, and to promptly report any suspicious movement to security authorities.
