Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has received widespread praise from residents and farmers for his innovative “Bring Back Youths in Agriculture” initiative.

The program, designed to attract young people to farming and provide them with necessary support and resources, has already engaged 930 youths.

The initiative provides participants with access to land, assistance with land clearing, seedlings, and agricultural extension services.

In a significant boost to the program, Oyebanji recently presented cheques to young farmers under the initiative.

This move demonstrates the Governor’s commitment to empowering the next generation of farmers and strengthening agriculture in Ekiti State.

The program has also ensured a stable market for the produce of the young farmers, with the government committing to buy their output.

Oyebanji’s initiative has been hailed as a meaningful step towards promoting agriculture and empowering young people in Ekiti State.
