Governor Ademola Adeleke has formally resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing the ongoing leadership crisis within the party at the national level.

In a letter dated November 4, 2025, and addressed to the PDP leadership in Sagba Abogunde, Ward 2, Ede North Local Government Area, the governor announced his withdrawal from the party.

Adeleke expressed appreciation to the PDP, its members, and supporters for the platform that enabled his election as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and, subsequently, as Governor of Osun State.

Further details regarding his next political move have not yet been disclosed.
