The Nigerian Army has debunked a fake recruitment publication circulating on social media claiming that applications for the 92 Regular Recruitment Intake have commenced.
In a statement, the Army said its attention had been drawn to the false publication and urged members of the public to disregard it entirely.
According to the Army, the publication does not represent any official recruitment announcement, stressing that the service maintains a clear and established procedure for announcing recruitment exercises and related activities.
The Nigerian Army said the public would be duly informed through its official communication channels once the recruitment portal for the 92 Regular Recruitment Intake is formally opened.
It further urged prospective applicants and members of the public to be cautious of individuals or platforms seeking to exploit the fake announcement to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians.
The Army reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and professionalism throughout its recruitment processes and warned the public against falling victim to fraudsters.
