A devastating scene has enveloped in the Ajiran community of Agungi Area, Lekki, Lagos, as unknown gunmen shot dead the first son of Ojomu of Ajiran land, Tijani Akinloye, on Monday.

The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the city, leaving residents reeling in disbelief.

According to eyewitnesses, the monarch’s son, identified as Prince Demola, was murdered along Chevron Drive, close to Ebano Supermarket, on Monday.

The assailants, whose motives remain unclear, opened fire on the prince, killing him on the spot.

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the incident, promising a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the prince’s death.

According to Lagos State Police, the 50-year-old prince was attacked along Chevron Drive in the Lekki area of Lagos while driving in his black Toyota Corolla.

β€œHe was attacked near Bourdilon Court Estate Gate by four armed men driving in a white mini bus.

β€œThe attackers shot and stabbed him to death. The scene had been visited and one expanded cartridge was recovered while the corpse had been moved to a morgue for preservation and autopsy.
