NEMA Flags off Distribution of Relief Items to Rainstorm Victims in Ọṣun

The National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, Ibadan Operations Office on Friday 8th August, 2025 carried out direct distribution of relief assistance for victims of rainstorm in four (4) LGAs namely Oboku, Oriade, Atakumosa East and West of Ife -ijesa Senatorial district , Ọṣun State.

The Distribution exercise was flagged off by Director General National Emergency Management Agency Mrs. Umar Zubaida represented by Head of NEMA Ibadan Operation Office, Mr. Kadiri Olanrewaju, who conveyed the heartfelt sympathy to the affected persons.

Mr. Olanrewaju expressed deep concern of NEMA to affected people, saying the relief items were graciously approved by the Director General to cushion the impact of the disaster and make them feel the impact of Federal Government in their trying time.

The exercise was witnessed by relevant stakeholders among which was chief Fadipe Femi, representing Senator Francis Adenigba Fadah.

The Distribution exercise was successful as beneficiaries took turns to collect their items and appreciated NEMA for the kind gesture.
