The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted a large quantity of cocaine worth millions of naira concealed in granulated pepper, melon, and yam flour.

The drugs were intended for transportation from Nigeria to the United Kingdom.

The Director of Media and Advocacy at NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, on his X page, expressed shock at the extent people go to traffic illegal drugs.

He shared a video on his X handle on Sunday, November 17, showcasing the seized cocaine.

The video caption reads: “The unimaginable places #ndlea_nigeria officers find illicit drugs these days will make you cringe and more careful when dealing with humans.”

In the video, NDLEA officers are seen uncovering the cocaine hidden in various food items. The agency’s efforts demonstrate its commitment to combating drug trafficking and protecting Nigerians from the harmful effects of illicit substances.
