NANS Announces Reinstatement of Suspended FUOYE SUG President James Adio

The National Association of Nigerian Students has announced the reinstatement of James Adio as the Students’ Union Government President of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti .

NANS President Akinteye Babatunde confirmed the development on Wednesday, following high-level engagements with the university’s management . According to Babatunde, Adio’s reinstatement came after the university Senate considered his case .

Adio was initially suspended alongside two other students over alleged financial irregularities related to practical fees, a decision that sparked criticism from NANS . His suspension also prompted a separate cyberbullying incident that led to the suspension of two students .

The student body stated that the intervention also led to the reinstatement of other suspended students and allowed them to participate in their examinations .
