The management of the Lagos State University, Ojo, has applauded the appointment of nine alumni of the institution appointed as judges of the state high court.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, in a statement seen on the university’s X handle on Monday, said the appointment of the nine, who studied Law at the university, was a no mean feat.

“The nine were part of the 13 judges recently appointed into the Lagos State High Court, a feat made more remarkable by the fact that the number is the highest ever recorded from the university at any time in history,” she said.

The alumni are Justices Sunmonu Bashiru, Alebiosu Lawal, Anjorin-Ajose Abdulwaheed, Muyodeen Tejumade and George Akingbola.

Others are Justices Balogun Ganiu, Badejo-Okusanya Jokotola, Ojuromi Oluwatosin and Adewale Musiliu.
