Lagos Removes Illegal Structures in Eti-Osa

The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, in a bid to deflood the area, has begun the removal of structures on the Ajiran regional road collector drain in Eti-Osa Local Government Area.

This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Tuesday, July 9.

Wahab wrote: “Operatives of the Drainage Enforcement department from Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources #LasgMOE commenced removal of contravening structures on Ajiran-Regional road Collector drain in Eti-Osa LG on Monday as part of measures to deflood the area.”
